Okay, I've never really seriously levelled up BST. Right now, I am kind of saving it for when I really want to level up solo a fairly complicated job (you know, when I want a real challenge :-) So, I've been playing BST largely as a means for collecting more Beastman Seals and some crystals (sic a pet on one EP enemy while you take on another... may not get much EXP, but you can sure maximize your crystal and seal drops).



Well, the other day, while farming beastman seals with my BST, I happened upon Spiny Spipi. I was 9 or 10 at the time, and Spipi is a NM that is difficult to solo in your teens. I figured, what the hell... worst case scenerio is I die in a job I'm not seriously levelling... so I attack him :-)



Well, let's just say BST is a bit more formidable than I had expected....

No 2-houring... had to stop to heal twice while a pet was being torn appart by spipi... and had to pop a potion and some HP/MP regen to survive... but I made it.



No drop, but damn am I impressed with how well BST can survive a fight that another job would have had no chance with :-)



The fight was so intense... I didn't think of taking a screenshot during it. So, this crappy camera shot of the aftermath is the only record I have...
