Chikken and Chikken Prices

Well, we all know they will do some recast time that will make it so you will still have to rely on normal chikkens in the towns (e.g., you cheap bastards wont be able to just never have to rent a chikken again).

My one hope is these personal chikkens don't affect the price of the normal chikkens. In fact, I hope the personal chikkens reduce the price of the normal ones.

For those who don't know, the price of chikkens for a given Choco NPC is dependant upon how many chikkens that NPC has rented out recently. As a SE developer once explained (bah, too lazy to find the interview, google it), this is to reduce the potential lag in a given area (persons on chocos are given higher priority and more leniency on the server since their travel speed is so much higher and they have to dismount to attack or get aggro). Thus, the more choco use there is in a region, the more it will cost to rent another (this is why places like Tahrongi and Lower Jeuno are so high).

My hope (and I know, this kind of goes against the design goal of the choco prices) is that people using their own chocos will not count towards this price, and instead reduce it generally.

()they should make it so that everytime ur choco breeds he gets al ittle older and a little slower this would make breeding less common and mabye make it cost money <_< which is where chocobo brothels come in, im going to set up a chocobo brothel in nashmau as soon as they come out its 10k gil to breed with a normal chocobo, and 100k for any rare strand. Bring your own males... NO BEASTIALITY: WITH A PUNISHMENT OF DEATH, unless you pay the excpected 5 million gil fine ^o^
